Create a reflection journal on your Blog and answer the following questions:
1. Why did you select the inspiration pieces?
The first piece reminded me of me playing with pin wheels when I was young for the second painting I was cruising through self portraits on the internet and this guy looks exactly like my brother I stared at it for so long like wow I tried to find a pic to upload it so you could see but it was too late
2. Why did you select the media to create your self-portrait? It was the easiest for me to draw with kind of made it cartooned
3. What challenges did you face in creating your self-portrait and how did you overcome them? my chest and face it was a rough sketch
4. How does this piece represent you? this represents me and actually I thought it came out really well considering I have absolutely no background in art whats so ever
5. What elements and principles of art did you apply in this work? shading and color from background to represent the pictures associated in the background
6. Did you enjoy working on this project? actually I did very much I showed my wife and she actually laughed at it and said it looked like me and she was proud of me
7. What do you think of your final artwork? I loved it
